Hello, is anyone experiecing any quirks lately with heywatch? it doesn’t seem to like m4v, mp4, etc.. most videos transfered result in really huge size encodings or just no encode at all…

Example:

Encoded videos << back

Thumbnail

  • Title: 5696
  • Length: 41:16
  • Size: 454.41MB
  • Format: VuReelFLVFirstTest
  • Time left before deletion: 1 day
  • Download link: here

Feed Encoded videos (12)

Raw videos << back

Thumbnail

  • Title: 5696
  • Length: 41:16
  • Specs: flv, 480×272, 14.99fps
  • Size: 124.27MB
  • Time left before deletion: about 12 hours
  • Encode it

Do you see what I mean?

Do you use some encoding options? What is the bitrate of your format? Please be more specific.

Yes, the format is VuReelFLVFirstTest – thats the encoding template. It uses h.264 in FLV Container and then gets outputted to 640×390…

I just transfered a video and got this error:

The video you’ve downloaded is not available because: Cannot retrieve info from this video.

Sorry for all these posts, but im troubleshooting here:

  1. Title: 5716
  2. Length: 06:48:03
  3. Specs: ac3, 0×0, 0.0fps
  4. Size: 1120.79MB
  5. Time left before deletion: about 12 hours

That video shouldnt be longer than 41 minutes, and it just registered as 6 hour video…

Another error:

Thumbnail

  • Title: 5719
  • Length: 00:00
  • Specs: m4v, 624×352, 23.98fps
  • Size: 350.98MB
  • Time left before deletion: about 12 hours

it fails to find ID_LENGTH

and after encoding:

Error while encoding the video 5719 in VuReelFLVFirstTest format: Unknown error

this has happened with most of the last 10-20 videos users have uploaded on our site.

Please disregard, something in our system was breaking the files that users where uploading… everything seems to be workin fine..
