I am thinking about using the Heywatch API but curious what 1 credit includes.

Namely, I am interested in encoding an uploaded video into various formats (flv, 3GP, ipod) and also would like to request 8 thumbnails from the video.

Assuming I want the same video in 3 formats and create 8 preview thumbnails, how many credits would this require? (I am hoping it would be 1 =P )

Please clarify.

Hi,

Actually, 1 credit allows you to encode 1 video in 1 format. So, if you want to encode your video in flv, 3gp and iPod, it will cost you 3 credits.

Thanks Eric. And what about grabbing 8 preview thumbnails? Is that extra or included with 1 credit and the 1 encode.
